Indonesian Ambassador to the United States Indroyono Soesilo, accompanied by Indonesian Defense Attaché in Washington, D.C., Air Commodore Jose Ridha, and officials from the Indonesian Embassy in Washington, D.C., received a delegation from the Indonesian Defense Ministry and the Industry Ministry led by Col. Romson Sintong Sianturi in Washington, D.C., United States, on Friday (June 26). The delegation visited Washington at the invitation of the United States Defense Technology Security Administration (US-DTSA) to strengthen communication and cooperation in defense and security technology.
US-DTSA is an agency under the United States Department of Defense responsible for developing and implementing technology security policies related to the defense sector. The meeting formed part of efforts to strengthen bilateral relations between Indonesia and the United States, particularly in capacity building, information exchange and the advancement of strategic cooperation in defense technology in support of the national interests of both countries.
